About the Filmmaker
Golam Mostafa
With over a decade of training and production across two continents, Golam brings a unique perspective to every project — shaped by his education at AFTRS and the University of Sydney, his teaching at the University of Dhaka, and twenty-one years in IT before turning to film.
He has written and directed twelve films — shorts, documentaries and a tele-film — produced across Sydney, Bathurst, Salt Lake City and Dhaka, working with everything from the Arriflex 16SR3 to DSLR. He has also worked on twenty-five further productions as camera operator, DOP, first AD, editor and actor.
